Last year we bought a fake tree because we always waited until the last minute to get a tree and then the only ones left we really expensive or really ugly.

The kids took turns choosing an ornament and hanging it, and we had popcorn and hot chocolate and apple cider.

Sydney turns 6

Sydney had her birthday last Tuesday and we had a party on Saturday. Six of her girl cousins came over for a tea party and a movie.

Sydney and Daddy made this cupcake cake.

Aunt Julia made Sydney this cake.
